Slate

For the independent recruiter

Nearly nine hours back on every campaign. Every decision still yours.

Slate writes the advert, builds the interview guide, sends the first email, chases the Permission to Represent, books the interview and turns the recording into a transcript and a summary. From your Gmail mailbox and your own calendar, in your name, and nothing leaves until you say so. The client pack is what the pilot is building next, and it takes the saving to 10 h 35 m.

Free while we pilot with a handful of recruiters. No card, and nothing to cancel.

How a campaign runs

Every candidate walks the same seven steps.

One visible journey per candidate, so nobody goes cold in your inbox and nobody reaches a client without a signed Permission to Represent. The dashboard tells you what needs you today.

The first 6 are live today. The last one is what the pilot is building, and it is marked so you know what you are signing up to.

  2. 02The advert, ready to postVariants for LinkedIn, PNet and Indeed plus a short social post. The client name and salary stay out unless you allow them.
  3. 03The interview guideMust-ask questions drawn from the job description and your notes, with the standard salary, notice and availability questions.
  4. 04Your shortlist goes inUpload the CVs you have already chosen. Name, contact details and a short snapshot are read off each one, and every candidate gets a journey folder.
  5. 05First contact and the PTRA personalised email from your own Gmail mailbox, with your agency's Permission to Represent attached. Signed on a phone in thirty seconds, and chased without you.
  6. 06Booked, recorded, written upThe candidate self-books from your live calendar. After the interview you get a transcript and a summary that cites where each answer came from.
  7. 07The Candidate File goes outIn the pilotCV, signed PTR and the written summary assembled into one pack, with the submission email drafted for you to approve.

Where the software stops

It automates the admin. It never touches the judgement.

It does not source candidates.
You decide who goes into a campaign. Slate starts work the moment you upload a CV you have already chosen.
It does not score, rank or recommend anyone.
No match percentages, no shortlists sorted helpfully in your favour. Candidates appear in the order you added them.
It does not reject anyone.
Nobody is filtered out by a model. Every decision to progress or stop a candidate is made by you and recorded as yours.
It never writes as Slate.
Candidate email leaves from your own Gmail mailbox, in your name. Calendar invites, client email and the packs that carry your agency name will do the same when they land. Nobody on the other side is ever talking to software.
It never sends without your say-so.
Every advert, guide, email and summary waits as a draft, and the client pack will when it lands. Once a step has earned your trust, you can switch that one to send on its own.
It never invents an answer.
Summaries quote the transcript and point at the moment they came from. If something was not discussed, it says so rather than filling the gap.

Live within the hour

It runs on the tools you already pay for.

Your own mailbox

Connect Gmail once. Every candidate and client email sends from your address and lands in your sent items.

Your own PTR

Load your agency's Permission to Represent template. Candidates sign it on a phone, and the signed copy files itself against the candidate.
